The Solaro is one of the most complex and luxurious fabrics of tailored menswear.
The original version was in cotton, which evolved to, and has always remained, in pure wool. It is a cavalry twill. Its typical iridescent effect is obtained by the different colors of threads in the warp and weft, which come together in a herringbone pattern.
The particular Solaro models offered by Drapers depart from the classic Beige-Red nuance to recreate this effect in many other colors: blue, gray, pink, purple, and why not even green.
